Ottawa Citizen - June 8, 1908 - Wilson/Strachan Mr. Alonzo Wilson of Ottawa and Miss Minnie May Strachan of Cantley, Quebec married at the residence of Mr. Strachan, the uncle of the bride, in Cantley, Wednesday evening. Rev. James Taylor officiated, and the ceremony took place before a large number of friends and relatives. The bride, who was given away by her (unreadable), wore a gown of brown silk and carried a bouquet of roses and lily-of-the-valley. She wore the gift of the groom, a gold locket and chain. The bride and groom were the recipient of many beautiful presents. Immediately after the ceremony, the newly wed couple left for Montreal, Quebec and other eastern points, where they will spend their honeymoon. On their return, they will take up residence in Ottawa.
